A zero-emission backup generator and energy platform powered by Electriq Powder (solid potassium borohydride, $KBH_4$), designed to store, transport, and release clean hydrogen gas on-demand for off-grid construction sites and power generation as an alternative to diesel generators.
Cause of Death
Electriq Global accumulated approximately $29.4 million (NIS 105M) in liabilities and ran out of operating capital after a planned €25 million investment from a Dutch investor was frozen due to the ongoing regional conflict and security situation in Israel. Unable to pay employee salaries, the company cut 80% of its workforce and filed for court protection and freeze of proceedings in Haifa District Court.
