Cause of Death
Meta released a public demo on November 15, 2022, encouraging anyone to try it. Within three days it was pulled after users showed it generating plausible-sounding but false or biased text — fabricated citations, incorrect scientific claims and even convincing 'research' on fictitious topics — all stated with confident, authoritative tone.
