易趣网 is a well-known Chinese e-commerce company founded in 1999 by Ethan Shaw and Haiyin Tan. It was the first C2C (Consumer to Consumer) e-commerce platform in China, predating the launch of Taobao by four years. In 2002, it formed an alliance with eBay, the world's largest e-commerce website, and rebranded as Eachnet eBay. It quickly grew to become one of the largest online trading platforms in the country. However, due to market competition and other factors, Eachnet gradually lost its market share and eventually withdrew from the Chinese market.
